We had the pleasure of hosting the All County Honors Choir Festival last week, culminating in a concert for both junior high and high school honors choirs.  It was a wonderful afternoon of talented students and directors coming together to perform beautifully. #WeArePDY

🇺🇸 In preparation for our upcoming Veterans Day assembly, Mrs. Foor's students thoughtfully created poetry dedicated to the veterans with the theme, "honoring their loyalty and service." They turned their poetry into a placemat that the veterans will use at the breakfast this morning. Through their words, they’re expressing gratitude and respect for those who have given so much. We're looking forward to sharing these meaningful tributes as a part of our celebration! #WeArePDY

Our high school students did an amazing job performing scenes from Lord of the Flies in Reader’s Theater! They brought the characters and story to life, making it a memorable experience for everyone. Great job to all our talented readers! #WeArePDY

Last week, we had an amazing turnout at our Family Literacy Night! It was wonderful to see so many families come together to celebrate the joy of reading. From quiet reading, to crafts, and interactive games, every activity was filled with smiles, learning, and family fun. 🎃 Crafting Fun with PBIS Points! 🎃 Our middle school students had a blast spending their PBIS points on Creighton Crafts! This time, they got creative making festive Jack-O-Lantern luminaries to celebrate the spooky season. It was a wonderful way to blend creativity with positive behavior rewards. #WeArePDYS

Some of our high school students are stepping up to make a difference! They’ve been learning the ins and outs of serving as poll workers and are ready to help keep the voting process smooth and efficient for next week’s election. Delta High School is celebrating Red Ribbon Week to promote a drug-free lifestyle in our community! The students will be showing their commitment by wearing themed clothing using the schedule below. Toledo Tomorrow visited senior English classes yesterday to help students with college applications, FAFSA, scholarships, and work force plans. Our kindergarteners had an exciting afternoon as the Delta Fire Department joined us for a special presentation themed "SMOKE ALARMS: MAKE THEM WORK FOR YOU." The firefighting team: Demonstrated how smoke alarms work Explained why Fire Plans Save Lives Showed off their safety gear Gave kids hands-on time exploring the firetrucks and ambulance We’re so grateful for our hometown heroes for making learning fun and keeping us safe! 💚 🐾 #WeArePDY
