School Meals

At Pike-Delta-York, we participate in the USDA National School Breakfast and National School Lunch Program.

We follow the national nutritional standards and meal patterns requirements.

Breakfast requirements include: entrées consisting of whole grains, fruit and milk.

Lunch requirements include: entrée comprised of lean meat and grain, ½ cup fruit, ½ cup vegetable and fat-free flavored or 1% white milk.

We are an Offer versus Serve school; students must take at least a fruit or vegetable at both breakfast and lunch to qualify for a full meal according to the USDA.

Delay Days

On "delay" days breakfast is still served but menus for the day may be modified.  If we have consecutive delays or cancelations the menu may continue to be modified to prevent food loss or spoilage.

BREAKFAST IS SERVED AT EACH BUILDING EVERYDAY!

Don't forget about Breakfast!  Starting your day with a good breakfast boosts your energy, increases your attention span and heightens your sense of well-being.  If your student receives free or reduced lunch, they also receive a free or reduced price breakfast if they choose to eat with us.
