🏹 Three teams of talented archers from our district have made the journey to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete on the world stage at the NASP World Tournament! Current standings have DES in sixth place, DMS in 11th place, and DHS in third place!

Our 8th graders took a class trip through music history at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! They explored the sounds that shaped generations—and made some memories of their own along the way.

Court was in session in Mrs. Dadisman’s English class! Students held a mock trial to determine Friar Laurence’s role in the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet. It was a great way to deepen their understanding of Shakespeare's classic.

This morning, Delta PD, Fulton County Health Department, and UTMC teamed up for a student seatbelt check as cars entered the high school parking lot. We’re grateful for their partnership in promoting safe driving habits! Students who were buckled up received a small treat as a reminder that making safe choices is always sweet.

🚒 Don’t panic if you saw a firetruck and ambulance outside DMS today — there was no emergency, just awesome visitors!
Some of our local firefighters and paramedics dropped by to hang out with students during lunch and recess. They even brought their four-legged crew member, Tilly 🐶, who totally stole the show.
Thanks to our hometown heroes for making safety look cool and recess even cooler! 💚
