Last month, five Delta FFA members headed to the Fulton County Fairgrounds to teach 3rd graders from across the county all about small animals. Students had the chance to see adorable kittens, chickens, and rabbits up close while learning fun facts and answering questions to earn small prizes.
Our FFA members had a blast teaching, interacting with the 3rd graders, and sharing their love of animals! Check out some photos of our FFA members and third graders inaction!

8th grade completed a “one word project.” This word represented their passions, achievements, or goals. Students reflect on the words quarterly and write about how they have worked toward this personal path. This encourages and reminds the class of 2030 that they are a unique piece of a puzzle and yet part of a bigger community picture.

Mrs. Smith’s 6th-grade students took a hands-on journey back to Ancient Egypt this week! They’re exploring the mummification process using apples and natron to simulate how ancient Egyptians preserved bodies thousands of years ago.
Now, the waiting begins — students will examine their “mummies” in 70 days to see how the process worked! We can’t wait to see their discoveries!
