🗳️ National Voter Registration Day 🗳️
Today, we celebrate the importance of being registered and ready to vote!
Our students who will be 18 before the next election had the opportunity to register to vote. We’re proud to see our Panthers preparing to have their voices heard in future elections.
In addition, our students got hands-on practice using the voting machines while casting their ballots for Homecoming Court. This tradition helps them feel more confident and comfortable when it comes time to participate in real elections.

Pike-Delta-York Local Schools was formed when Pike Township, York Township, and the Village of Delta came together to create one district. While all of our schools now sit on the campus in Delta, the history of each community is an important part of who we are today.
To honor that legacy, we’ve launched the Pike Township Historical Archive—a growing collection of class photos and community memories dating back to the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.
We invite you to explore the archive, share in the history, and even contribute your own photos and stories as we continue to expand to include York Township and the Village of Delta. Submissions can be sent to communications@pdys.org.

Know before you Go:
Tonight is DYFL / Mini Cheer night for the football game.
- Gates will open at 5:30pm
- All DYFL Football players, DYFL Cheerleaders, and Cheer camp participants will receive free admission with a paid adult.
- We ask for all cheer camp families to sit in the reserve section while their child is performing, in order to keep the aisles clear, including the main walkway. (see image below)

Ms. Olejniczak's and Ms. Finnen’s 6th grade ELA students launched into learning with a project that blended art and writing. Students reflected on their favorite summer memories, brought them to life through descriptive writing, and illustrated their moments inside a pair of “summer sunglasses” on a self-portrait.
This project not only showcased their personalities and creativity, but also gave a wonderful way to get to know each student a little better. ✏️🎨

The parking lot has a fresh new look! We’ve striped the parking lot next to the football stadium to make parking easier and keep traffic flowing smoothly on game nights.

After the talk, he didn’t just cheer from the sidelines — he laced up and ran a full 5K with the team through the streets of Delta. It was an experience our runners won’t soon forget.

A mysterious visitor showed up at practice — The Sneaky Panther — and left behind a giant green box wrapped with care and marked "OPEN THIS SIDE." On top was an encouraging message for our runners, reminding them just how strong and unstoppable they are.
Inside? Pure joy.
Each athlete received a personalized bag filled with fun and inspiring goodies — wild socks that the team loved, stickers, motivational animal tokens, and other surprises (so many we lost count!). The smiles said it all.
Huge thank you to The Sneaky Panther for bringing even more heart and fun to our season. Whoever you are… we see you. 🐾 Let’s keep the momentum, team spirit, and mystery going strong!
It was so great seeing our students walk through the doors this morning—from our littlest Panthers at the elementary to our middle schoolers and high school Panthers!
A big thank you to our amazing PTO for providing the balloons and balloon arch that made the first day extra special!
