Good evening, due to road conditions and forecasted temperatures, the Pike-Delta-York school district will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday January 20, 2026.
We are incredibly proud of these talented students who were selected to have their short stories published through the Young Writers competition!
Their suspenseful pieces—each written in 100 words or less—will be featured in the upcoming book Stranger Sagas: Fragments of Reality. What an exciting accomplishment and a true testament to their creativity and storytelling skills.

Tonight, we proudly welcomed and inducted members of the PDY Board of Education. We are excited to welcome Mr. Craig Elton as our newest board member and to congratulate Mr. Jeff Lintermoot on being re-elected and continuing his service to our district.
Fittingly, this evening’s recognitions take place during School Board Appreciation Month, a time when we pause to thank all of our board members for the many hours they dedicate to serving our students, staff, and community. During our final days before break, our 3rd graders led the way with their Giving Tree, collecting winter gear to donate to the Open Door. Hats, gloves, scarves, and coats were shared with the goal of spreading warmth and care throughout our community.
