Our Delta Middle School Boys Cross Country Team brought home the NWOAL Championship!
The Panthers packed it up and finished strong with five in the top twenty!
Leading the way was Jaxon Elliott, who finished 3rd overall and earned 1st Team All-League honors.
Right behind him, Sebastian Gibson took 6th place, also earning 1st Team All-League.
Asher Adkins finished 9th overall and was named 2nd Team All-League,
and Dason Snyder placed 18th to earn Honorable Mention honors.
Jonathan Gutierrez rounded out the scoring, securing the championship for the team!
On the girls’ side, Mia Rollins led the way for Delta, finishing 5th overall and earning 1st Team All-League recognition!
Congratulations to all of our middle school runners for an incredible season and a league title!

Healthy Eyes and Healthy Teeth are coming to PDY Schools!
Health Partners of Western Ohio will be offering free dental and vision exams for students this school year. Elementary and middle school consent forms are going home this week, and high school students can pick up a copy in the office.

This Saturday is band tag day from 10:00-2:00. Our DHS Band students will be out in the community collecting donations for the band program. All funds raised will go directly toward their upcoming Nashville trip, new uniforms, updated equipment, and more!

☕🍪 Our first Coffee & Cookies of the school year was extra special today! Guests enjoyed performances by our talented kindergarten and fourth-grade students, filling the elementary school with music, smiles, and Panther pride. 💚

New this year, DHS has partnered with Future Plans (futureplans.org) to help prepare our students for their futures. This service is being provided at no cost to the district and includes a five-step process.
This process first includes “Assess,” where every student takes a career assessment identifying interests, strengths, weaknesses, etc., and how they align to careers they are interested in.
The next step in the five-step process is “Coach,” where students all sit down one-on-one with a career coach for an hour-long coaching session to discuss the results of their career assessment, how it aligns to their career interests, as well as other possible career opportunities.
Other steps in this process include “Discover,” “Prepare,” and “Place.”
This year all sophomores, juniors, and seniors are participating, with the intention to do this annually with our sophomores.
