Ms. Pezzin’s students enjoyed a wonderful holiday adventure! They started the morning with a trip to see A Christmas Carol. After the show, the fun continued with visits to Delta 109 and The Open Door. The students had an absolute blast and made memories that will last well beyond the holiday season! 🎭

Our young learners have been busy building their number sense!
Students worked with numbers 0–10 by ordering them, removing numbers, and then working together as a team to put everything back in the correct sequence. Hands-on activities like these help strengthen counting skills, collaboration, and confidence.
Great job, Panther mathematicians!

Last Monday, Jordyn York from Howard Hanna Realty visited our English 9 classes to share how persuasive writing plays a key role in her career. Our freshmen have been putting those skills to work by creating their own Gingerbread Houses, which they’ll begin “marketing” next week! Each house will be “for sale” for a donation to our Kindness Closet, which helps provide food, clothing, and hygiene items to students in need. We love seeing learning come to life while giving back!

Our 4th grade students got creative by designing and crafting their own ornaments using the xTool laser on wood! Each student’s design was unique, and they even made a few special ones as gifts for their teachers. 🎄

Our Culinary Lab groups competed in the Great Pumpkin Challenge last week. Lab groups selected their recipe, made out their market order, planned the lab, prepared the food item, delivered goodies to the judges and then got to enjoy one another’s treats.
Our winners of the Silver Spoon award (Judge’s choice based on flavor and texture) was the group that made the pumpkin Pecan Coffee Cake. The winners of the Golden Rolling Pin (teamwork, planning, presentation, flavor, and texture) was the lab groups selected that made the pumpkin chocolate chip bread with pumpkin hot cocoa.

Our seventh graders have been working hard all quarter, earning tickets through consistent homework completion, good attendance, and meeting their weekly goals. Each achievement gave them a chance to be entered into a special drawing… and today, the lucky winners got to pie a principal or teacher in the face!
A huge shout-out to our brave volunteers who took a pie (or two!) for the team and helped make this incentive such a memorable moment for our students and great job to our seventh graders for their hard work and positive choices throughout the 9 weeks!

🦃 Ms. Mignin's students had a blast with their latest challenge! After reading TURKEYS IN DISGUISE, they were tasked with including their entire family in creating the ultimate turkey disguise. The challenge was accepted, and the Littles transformed their turkeys so no farmer would ever find them for Thanksgiving!
Not only did they get creative at home, but they also stood proudly in front of their peers to present their disguised projects. What an amazing job by all of our students, full of creativity, teamwork, and holiday spirit! 🍂✨

Pumpkins + Kindergartners = the perfect October combo! 🎃
Ms. Mignin’s Littles used pumpkins to explore academics, create art, and strengthen fine motor skills. There’s nothing like learning through touch, play, and imagination!
