February is " Love the Bus" month. Each Monday this month, we’ll be highlighting the unsung heroes of our Transportation Department — the people who work every day to keep students safe, supported, and on the move. From behind the wheel to behind the scenes, we’re excited to celebrate the many roles that make student transportation possible.
Today, we start with our drivers. Thank You, Bus Drivers!
Every school day starts and ends with our bus drivers. They’re the first smile students see in the morning and the last “have a good night” they hear in the afternoon. Our drivers safely transport students in all kinds of weather, traffic, and schedules—always with patience and care.
Thank you to our bus drivers for the countless hours, early mornings, and dedication you bring to our students every day. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

Throughout the semester, our Digital Photography students participate in a Top Photographer Challenge, each centered around a new theme. Student photos are shared anonymously with staff across the district, who vote based on how well the image stays within the theme, overall image quality, creativity and originality, composition, point of view, and the mood the photo creates.
Congratulations to Noah Etter, our winner for the “Food” theme.

Before making their recipe—s’mores bars—our culinary students had two class periods to unlock 13 different locks to access their ingredients.
Each lock could only be opened by demonstrating an understanding of essential kitchen safety and sanitation skills, including proper handwashing, dishwashing, food borne illnesses, and correct food temperatures.
This was a great way to reinforce that safety always comes first in the kitchen—then comes the fun (and the food)! 🍫

Our Art Club celebrated winter with a creative party, transforming upcycled scrap wood circles, fabric, phone cord, and found twigs into one-of-a-kind snowmen! ♻️☃️ It was a fun, festive way to mix creativity, sustainability, and a little winter cheer. We love seeing our students’ imaginations come to life!
