Who remembers floppy disks and CDs? Our second graders explored the evolution of technology by learning about different computer drives! From what we used back in the day to the modern storage methods they’ll use in the future, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come. Thank you Dr. Friess for the trip down memory lane!

Our DHS Culinary Fundamentals students traveled to Wauseon to learn about food safety! Thanks to lessons from Fulton County FCS Extension agents, Melissa Rupp and Cheryl Barber Kleckner, every student earned their Person in Charge certificate—an Ohio Department of Health requirement for food service. They are able to use this certificate while employed from fast food to institutional settings. Congrats to all for mastering skills like food thermometer calibration and learning safe cooking and storage practices!
