Fifth grade students practiced peer pressure refusal techniques by acting out real life scenarios. Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio has been coming to DMS to teach the Too Good For Drugs program that is funded by the Mendez Foundation. Thank you to Ms. Brown for helping our students learn to refuse peer pressure by: saying no, stating the facts, reversing the pressure, being a broken record, suggesting a better idea, walking away, steering clear, ignoring, or making an excuse.
