Autumn is a season of growth and reflection, and our schools have already achieved so much this fall. In this Fall 2026 edition of our district newsletter, we invite you to take a closer look at the innovative programs, campus activities, and student successes driving our momentum this school year. We are proud of the work taking place every day across our classrooms and grateful for the vibrant community that makes it possible. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T6wlYCutWcQt3P6W0S0DVAyIB382L3bP/view?usp=sharing
Homecoming week is officially here, and we want to start it off by bringing our entire community together!
Tonight, join us at Panther Stadium for an evening full of camaraderie, school pride, and community spirit. It’s the perfect chance to connect with fellow district families, support our students, and celebrate what makes PDY such a special place to live and learn.
Tonight’s Schedule:
7:00 PM – Powder Puff Game: Watch our Junior and Senior girls go head-to-head under the lights at Panther Stadium.
Immediately Following – Community Bonfire: Head to the parking lot behind Panther Stadium for a bonfire featuring our athletic teams, the marching band, and our cheerleaders!
All PDY families and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend. A strong community is built when we all gather together, so bring your family, wear your school colors, and help us make this week unforgettable for our kids.
We hope to see you there tonight!
Educationally Yours,
Doug Ford, Superintendent
Pike-Delta-York Schools

We have had more than 40 students attend each day this week as incoming 5th–8th graders have been putting in the work, learning proper techniques, building strength, and encouraging one another.
The program meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00–9:00 a.m., and we are excited to see so many students taking advantage of this opportunity to stay active and prepare for the upcoming school year.
Keep up the great work, Panthers! 🐾
