At PDY Schools, we understand any delays and cancellations cause an inconvenience on our families. Your children's safety is a top priority for our district. The decision process that goes into a delay or cancellation is made by the Superintendent and can involve communication with district leadership, local law enforcement, and surrounding area schools.

We try to give early notifications to families in order for parents to make plans for child care. We're always trying to strike the balance between providing a safe place with high quality education and warm meals with keeping our students safe.

Parents and community members can sign up for notifications through the Pike-Delta-York app or by allowing notifications through your Final Forms registration process. We also list delays and cancellations on local radio and TV outlets.
