The Operations Department plays a vital role in supporting the overall success of our district. Our team ensures that facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors every day.

We are responsible for the care of five buildings:

• High School

• Middle School

• Elementary School

• Transportation Building

• Board Office

Our department is made up of three key areas: Custodial, Grounds, and Maintenance.

Our custodial staff keeps all district buildings clean, sanitary, and ready for use. Daily work includes cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas. Custodians also support events and respond to special cleaning needs. During long breaks, they complete deep-cleaning projects to refresh and prepare facilities for the next season.

The grounds crew maintains the outdoor spaces across all district properties. Their work includes mowing, trimming, landscaping, snow removal, and upkeep of parking lots and walkways. They also care for all athletic fields and the track, making sure these areas are safe, well-maintained, and ready for practices, competitions, and community events.

Our maintenance team ensures building systems and equipment function properly. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, repairs, and responding to service requests. From heating and cooling systems to plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, their work keeps operations running smoothly without interruption.

Together, our custodial, grounds, and maintenance staff form a strong Operations Department. Their teamwork ensures that students and staff can focus on learning and growth in a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
