College Information
College Visit Procedure
Pick up forms in the counseling office, follow the directions!
You must meet the requirements in order to be approved:
Cumulative GPA must be consistent with the college admissions requirements above a 2.0
Student attendance must be consistent with DHS policy
Student must have attempted the ACT or have a scheduled ACT test prior to the college visit
Visit must be a scheduled tour of at least 3 hours
Student behavior must be consistent with DHS policy (request may be denied if the student’s behavior has required disciplinary action)
College visit forms must be signed by the counselor, parent & teachers
Common Application
Use the Common App to help you with the college admissions process. See Ms. Hoffman with any questions! Start thinking about which teachers you would like to ask to write you a recommendation! A good number to have is at least three recommenders.
