CCP
Legislation is currently in place that will replace PSEO and Dual Enrollment with a program called College Credit Plus (CCP).
The “final” guidelines that have most recently been articulated from the state are shared below:
Any student in grades 7-12 enrolled in Pike Delta York Schools is eligible to participate in CCP.
Students interested in earning college credit while in high school must meet admission criteria at the partnering college in order to participate in the CCP program.
Criteria include the appropriate college entrance exam and any GPA requirement the college uses.
For example: BGSU requires a GPA of 2.5 and a composite score of 20 on the ACT
For example: students interested in attending Northwest State must test into College Algebra or higher. Any math lower than College Algebra would indicate the student is not "college ready" and that student would be ineligible to participate in CCP until the appropriate scores were obtained.
Students must have a qualifying college entrance exam score that places them in courses ABOVE a remediation level.
