Students know that when they meet with me I keep things confidential, what they say in my office stays in my office. This helps to build a trusting relationship with students so that I can better help them be successful. But there are exceptions to this, I will break confidentiality when a student is being hurt or in an unsafe situation. I will take all the necessary steps to keep every student safe. Other times I will encourage and help students to share things with their parents, families, and teachers so that we can all work together.
Through our monthly lessons, student learn that I am here for EVERYONE. I am here to listen and help with any struggles and to celebrate the good stuff too!
