We have four very awesome people representing DMS this week. The first is 8th grader Zack Mattin. He likes to eat fried walleye while listening to all of today's country music. Ashley Creps is DMS Snap Chat student of the week for the 7th grade. She loves any type of country music and likes to eat tacos. Our DMS teachers of the week this week include 7th grade math teacher Mrs. Triana and 8th grade Special Intervention teacher Mark Nagel. Mr. Nagel likes chicken wings and Mrs. Triana enjoys lasagna. They have opposite opinions when it comes to their favorite songs, Mrs. Triana likes all Disney songs while Mr. Nagel like "Small Town by John Mellencamp.

• This week DMS People Of the Week are a terrific bunch of people. Representing the 8th grade is Bella White. 7th grader Lexi Badilla was chosen as a snap chat student because she demonstrates kindness towards others and is always willing to help those in need. Mrs. Fuerstenau is the snapchat staff person of the week. She is a good listener, willing to help all students, and likes to start new programs. Our final Snap Chat Teacher is Mr. Frey. Mr. Frey has a wonderful sense of "witty" jokes and writes amazing poetry.

Middle School wrestling team competed in the state dual tournament yesterday, finished as state runners-up
Sorry for the interrupted scheduled of Snapchat - but after a week off, we have four new DMS SNAPCHAT people of the week. Representing fifth grade for outstanding classroom behavior is Danica Ford. Danica likes creamy bacon pasta as well as playing basketball and baking. Danica, you are welcome to bring goodies in
for the DMS staff any time you bake! Her favorite phrase is "Be a pineapple - stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet on the inside." If she had three wishes, her first wish would be to have unlimited wishes. The sixth grade Snapchat student this week is Gretchen Culler who loves strawberries. Gretchen's favorite song is by Taylor Swift, "Love Story". With three wishes, she'd like to have a mansion, a life supply of donuts and for Kirsten to be nice to me. Ms. Dozier is full of energy and has a sense of humor. She teaches 8th grade math and science. BAM! Her favorite meal consist of mashed potatoes, steak and macaroni and cheese. Ms.
Dozier chose to become an educator because she wanted to make learning fun for students. With her first wish, she'd like ALL students to have ALL supplies needed to be successful. And Mrs. Smith is our last Snapchat DMS person of the week. She always has a smile on her face for every student and each staff member. Her favorites songs are by Bruno Mars. She chose teaching so she could work with students and have the ability to coach. She wishes that students could have more opportunity to choose more specials, to
have a device of one-to-one and one day for all students to have FREE college tuition. Congratulation to these four Snap Chat DMS people who make our building a better place daily!
o Congratulations to all in representing yourself and Delta Middle School in such a positive way!
• The greeters for this week are: Mariah Mattimore, Alayna Brenneman, Lindsay Hambly and Jaden Markey. Please greet them with a smile and a "Good Morning".

• The 7th and 8th grade band members will be on tour this week so the Golden stand will be awarded to a 6th grader only. Congratulations to Leigh Morris for receiving the Golden Stand Award in Band. Leigh gives 100% effort 100% of the time. She adjusts her technique to improve her sound on the trumpet when asked. Leigh has a great attitude and will surely be a big star in the band program. Congratulations Leigh!

Love is in the air. Let's show our love for one another by donating to Coach Cory's Backpack. It will run start on Friday of this week. Snapchat users ... Once again DMS has four awesome, outstanding
Snap chatters to share with you. This week 6th grade Ari Bernal
was chosen because of her growth and maturity since the beginning
of the year. She is patient and willing to work with her peers. Ari
puts forth a lot of effort in school as well as in the Panther Den and
we are proud of her. Ari like spaghettis with Alfredo sauce and
dancing! She enjoys the phrase, "You've got it dude" and with one
of her wishes, she'd like to have a pool at her house! Fifth grader
Eli Doughty is also lighting up our Snap Chat site because he has
shown a great increase in effort and participation. Eli has found a
way to become dedicated to his education and school. His favorite
song is "Uptown Funk" and sorry, Mr. Ford, he likes the phrase, "GO
BUCKEYES!" With one wish he'd like the entire school to have a free
electronics day. Our snapchat teachers this week include Mrs. Juby
and Mr. Tenney. Mrs. Juby teaches 7th grade English Language
Arts and her favorite activity - obviously - is READING! Mrs. Juby
became a teacher because she wanted to help children and if she
had three wishes, she'd use one to be sure all children LOVE
books! Mr. Tenney was chosen because he is very gracious about
sharing his classroom - the gymnasium - which sets a good example
for everyone at DMS about sharing. However, we can't spotlight
anything more about him at this moment, BUT everyone should
definitely check out his "rock 'n roll cool dude" snapchat shot on the
board. Keep on rocking' it Mr. Tenney! Congratulations Snap Chat
DMS people of the week. Stayed tuned .... more amazing people to
come next week
• The greeters for this week are: Hanna Diaz, Jasmine King, Emily Drewes, and Alyson Burling. Please greet them with a “Good Morning” and a smile.
